Javelin Technologies, Canada's leading provider of 3D Technology, is expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Business Development / Lead Generation Representative for our Marketing Department in Oakville Office.

We are looking for an energetic, resourceful, driven individual to drive strategic conversations showcasing Javelin's Solutions and the value they bring to improve the time to market and quality of our customers engineering cycles.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate and follow up on all sales leads for the sales team
  • Follow up on new business opportunities, setting up meetings with sales representatives
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend solutions
  • Recruit attendees for upcoming marketing activities and events
  • Follow up on all leads generated through or at marketing activities and events
  • Assist the Marketing Team in coordination of events and activities as required
  • Conduct scheduled marketing research calls to new customers

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a business development, lead generation or marketing role would be preferred
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business / Marketing is preferred
  • Experience or educational background in Mechanical / Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or Technology would be considered an asset
  • Exceptional telephone and customer service skills with an interest in speaking with new people
  • Proven experience in business development, sales or inside sales experience would be considered an asset
  • Organized, deadline driven and detail-oriented individual
  • Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of professionals
  • Experience with a CRM system is required; preferably NetSuite
  • Experience with an Automated Marketing System (such as Pardot) is preferred
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Able to occasionally travel into the US as required
  • A self-motivated individual who enjoys working on a collaborative team
  • A dynamic individual who will go "above and beyond"
  • Solid references
