PROFILE
As part of the Javelin Western Canada Sales Team and reporting to the Western Canada Sales Manager, this role is responsible for developing, maintaining and growing client relationships and ensuring customers and prospects fully understand the value of SOLIDWORKS and other Javelin solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • 50% direct sales to existing customers in an assigned territory and 50% net new business
  • Initiate sales activities to inspire, educate and develop account relationships for SOLIDWORKS suite of products and Javelin's solutions
  • Provide territory management data: forecasts, account management documentation, and activity reports to management providing the basis for sales planning
  • Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of the account and develop, present and demonstrate SOLIDWORKS and Javelin's capabilities to the potential customer
  • Introduce and integrate our technical team as well as SOLIDWORKS and Solution Partner resources to the customer to demonstrate capabilities
  • With the assistance of Application Engineers, develop, deliver and lead professional technology proposals

 A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:                                                                 

  • 3-5 years of experience in Software Sales, ERP or Technology Solution sales
  • University or college degree preferred but experience and results achievement considered equal
  • Consistent track record of successful business to business software or professional services sales
  • Demonstrable professional sales skills and solid references
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Experience selling SOLIDWORKS or competitive products an asset but not required
  • An innovative and 'make it happen' attitude
  • Capable of appreciating and meeting aggressive sales goals
  • Experience with a CRM system, preferably NetSuite
  • Experience with CAD preferred but not required
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation and a valid Driver's license
