PROFILE

As key member of the Additive Solutions Technical Sales Team, this role is responsible for developing, maintaining and growing client relationships and ensuring customers fully understand the benefits of Javelin's 3D printing solutions. This role is an inside sales position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for direct sales to potential clients in an assigned territory
  • Demonstrate strong sales behaviours and attitudes
  • Initiate sales activities to stimulate, encourage, establish and develop account relationships for products and services
  • Minimum of 20 "meaningful" sales conversations daily
  • Inbound sales lead rapid response and outbound calling to find new opportunities
  • Ensure that customers receive the benefits of Javelin's solution to meet their Additive Manufacturing project needs
  • Provide territory management data: accurate forecasts, account management documentation, and activity reports to management providing the basis for sales planning
  • Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of the account and develop, present and demonstrate the company's capabilities to the potential customer
  • Introduce and integrate technical resources as well as Stratasys resources to the customer to demonstrate capability, educate customer personnel and facilitate project management

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of Technical Sales experience. Captial Equipment experience preferred.
  • Diploma or BS Manufacturing / Engineering preferred
  • A business degree will be considered in conjunction with industry experience
  • A sound understanding of manufacturing, engineering and business processes is highly desirable
  • Driven by working in a team selling environment. Trust, reliability and dependability are success cornerstones.
  • Demonstrable professional sales skills and solid references, preferably business to business
  • Excellent, lively and engaging communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Strong efficient proposal creations skills, Sales Quotations, Business Plans, ROI
  • Track record of nurturing long-term opportunities to closure
  • Track record of communicating to Owners VP/Dir Mfg./Eng., Plant Manager, and Engineers
  • A passion & aptitude for technology
  • Solution minded and innovative individual
  • Experience selling products competitive to Stratasys printers is a plus
  • A "make-it-happen" attitude and appreciation for aggressive sales goals
  • Experience with cloud CRM software (Netsuite CRM experience is highly desirable)
  • Ability to travel to the United States of America on occasion
