PROFILE

As part of the Additive Manufacturing team this role is primarily responsible supporting Javelin's customers with our prototype 3D Printers. This effort includes, installation, support, service, training at the customer site. As well, Pre-Sales technical support may be required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installation, setup and training of new prototype 3D Printers at customer site.
  • Service prototype 3D Printers at customer locations
  • Provide competent hardware technical support on prototype solutions to existing customers.
  • Provide competent Software technical support on prototype solution to existing customer
  • Training-on-site and at Javelin offices
  • Remote Phone and Web support to nation wide customers.
  • Present the prototype 3D Printing Workflow Process; Software, Hardware and post processing techniques to existing and potential new customers.
  • Become and remain competent in the application of 3D printing technology to design and manufacturing processes.
  • Perform the evaluation, re-design in SolidWorks, printing and post processing of benchmarks from prospect data with the sales team.
  • Work with Javelin and prototype technical team to problem solve, learn together and escalate to meet the customer's requirements.
  • Document, track, and follow up in NetSuite with customer issues to complete resolution.
  • Participate in sales and marketing initiatives and tradeshows

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years of previous work experience preferred
  • Technical or Engineering degree considered
  • Previous experience with prototype 3D Printers, SolidWorks Software, or NetSuite CRM is an asset.
  • Knowledge/experience with manufacturing processes is an asset
  • Must enjoy working hands-on to trouble shoot problems
  • Thorough understanding of Additive Manufacturing and the 3D Printing Industry.
  • Comfortable working over the phone, email and advanced web conferencing tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work individually and with teams.
  • Be customer focused and service-oriented w/ strong desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Proficient problem solving and ability to diagnose and solve system/equipment issues.
  • Excellent communication written and verbal skills for delivering training or presentations
  • Strong planning, self organization and administrative skills.
  • Must be willing to travel when needed; at least 75% travel required
  • Must be able to travel to the USA on occasion.
