PROFILE

Javelin Technologies is looking for a high-performing Insides Sales Manager who will be responsible to help meet Javelin's revenue growth targets, oversee the activities and performance of your Eastern Inside Sales Team and work with other teams within the organization to keep our company competitive and innovative.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead a team of Account Managers who are responsible for growing Javelin's business both within existing client base and new clients in the Eastern Canada region
  • Work with your team and Javelin leadership to develop sales plans and strategies for increasing revenue and achieving the company's sales goals
  • Work with team and individuals to identify areas of improvement and build the necessary action plans.
  • Lead quarterly and annual employee reviews with each individual
  • Participate in discovery calls and demonstrations along with Account Managers to build confidence with clients and coach team on necessary improvements
  • Hire and develop sales staff, through interview, hiring, onboarding and career development.
  • Work with team of Account Managers on ongoing training to ensure onboarding is reinforced, product knowledge is kept up, enhanced, and new products are ramped up on.
  • Work with other Javelin managers to improve teamwork and productivity of all teams
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish appropriate goals and build strategies for each line of business
  • Facilitate both weekly team meetings and individual forecast review meetings
  • Provide monthly reporting of field sales success to SolidWorks
  • Maintain NetSuite data relative to accounts and activities with documented customer interactions
  • Prepare reporting as needed for internal Sales Manager Meetings
  • Manage the budgeting of expenses as well as sales bookings for the inside sales team
  • Review and refine sales processes to improve efficiency wherever possible
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to leadership and other internal teams
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key business partners to align growth opportunities and expectations
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to high level of customer satisfaction
  • Travel for in person meetings with internal team, customers and partners as required
  • Increase the appeal of Javelin as an employer of choice for top sales and technical people
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business goal achievement
  • Deliver Presentations at annual company-wide events (BTS, Kick-off, for example)

 EDUCATION AND SKILLS:                                                 

  • Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent professional presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Sales professional with 3-5 years' of consistently exceeding sales revenue and goal objectives 
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of various design, analysis and manufacturing processes typical of our client base.
  • Strategic business development planning; can build an effective business case reflecting the value of an appropriate strategy.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office tools)
  • CRM experience NetSuite and/or Salesforce
