PROFILE

As part of the Subscription Services team, the Inside Sales Representative role is responsible for assisting in the selling and recapturing of software subscriptions and support solution services that the company offers to customers across Canada.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Responsible for the sales and renewals of subscription support services to existing SolidWorks users and Javelin clients
  • Manage the process of subscription renewals (quoting, order management, invoicing)
  • Listen for, create and follow up on new business opportunities with the sales and training teams as required
  • Provide product and technical information in a timely manner as requested
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend solutions
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
  • Educate customers about features and benefits of the products /solutions in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Follow up with requests or inquiries from customers; as well as the sales, training and operations teams
  • Maintain customer files in CRM; logging phone calls and emails
  • Ensure orders are entered and processed correctly for customers and partners
  • Compute and check pricing and any appropriate discounts
  • Reviews orders for accuracy and completion
  • Manage orders for new product lines and assist in the creation of new processes that support customers, partners, and sales
  • Conduct customer credit checks
  • Process vendor information forms
  • Prepare invoices for processed orders
  • Verify customer information is correct and up-to-date
  • Service fulfillment and invoicing on a timely basis (all products)
  • Process credit card payments
  • Communicate with reception (order fulfillment) order details for appropriate shipping and fulfillment
  • Other tasks and projects as needed

 QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven sales or inside sales experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intermediate to advance computer skills; working with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Experience with a CRM system, preferably NetSuite
  • Demonstrable professional business skills
  • Capable of appreciating and meeting aggressive goals & targets
  • An innovative and 'make it happen' attitude
  • A passion for speaking with new people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An interest in learning and in technology
